CortexWP is an AI agent for WordPress and would love feedback from other WordPress users/devs. The idea is CortexWP: an AI agent that can connect to a WordPress site, read the plugin/theme setup, codebase, database, and error logs, then suggest fixes or new functionality with real site context instead of guessing. Some examples of what we are trying to make it useful for:
  • Finding the cause of fatal errors
  • Debugging plugin or theme conflicts
  • Reviewing custom code for broken logic
  • Finding database-related issues
  • Replacing old URLs across posts, pages, and settings
  • Fixing broken Elementor layouts
  • Creating CPTs, fields, forms, shortcodes, or small admin tools
  • Connecting WordPress with external apps
  • Automating WooCommerce workflows
  • Generating PDFs, emails, or reports
  • Building WordPress features from a prompt
Changes are not applied automatically. The user has to review and approve before CortexWP deploys anything. PHP changes are also tracked and kept isolated where possible, instead of directly mixing everything into existing custom code. We are mainly building this for developers, site owners, plugin/theme support teams, and, honestly, people like me who want to debug WordPress faster. We would appreciate feedback on the idea, the positioning, and what WordPress tasks you would actually trust an AI agent to handle. Site: https://cortexwp.ai #wordpress #ai #plugin
