WPFolks is a community for WordPress professionals and enthusiasts. It is not directed at children, and accounts are for folks aged 16 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) anywhere on wpfolks.org or in the WPFolks apps.
What is prohibited
Any content, message, link, image or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, grooms or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited. This includes CSAM, sexualised depictions of minors, solicitation of minors, and sharing or linking to such material. Violations lead to immediate removal of the content, permanent account termination, and reporting to the relevant authorities.
How to report
Every post, comment, photo and profile in the app and on the website has a Report option, and any folk can be blocked from their profile or from a conversation. Reports are reviewed by the WPFolks team. Anyone, including people without an account, can also report a child safety concern by emailing a@wpankit.com. Reports are treated as urgent.
What we do with reports
Content that violates these standards is removed as soon as it is identified. Accounts involved are terminated. Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national or regional law enforcement authorities, and we preserve the information needed for those reports. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
Prevention
Posts and images are screened by automated moderation before and after publication, and the community team reviews reports daily. We keep these standards under review and update them as laws and platform policies change.
Compliance
WPFolks complies with applicable child safety laws, including the requirements of the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and the Apple App Store guidelines.
