The people behind the plugins.

WPFolks members are working WordPress professionals: plugin and theme developers, agency builders, freelancers and product founders. They are the people who choose the hosting, recommend the page builder, and install the plugins their clients live with. They are also the folks at WordCamps, where WPFolks covers camps as a media partner and the app goes with them on the day. When they discover a tool here, it travels.

Where your brand shows up.

  • Every page on the site

Your logo sits in the sponsor strip above the footer, so it travels with every plugin, event, job and profile page folks visit.

  • Sponsors page

Logo, link, and blurb on a permanent page linked from the site footer.

  • The WPFolks blog

A guest post under your own byline, quarterly or monthly depending on your plan, edited to the same standard as everything else here.

  • Weekly digest & monthly newsletter

A featured slot in the emails members actually open: the Monday digest and the monthly newsletter.

  • Business Directory & your own landing page

A full company presence inside the community, up to a dedicated section of the site carrying your name.

Sponsorship your audience actually respects.

30% of every sponsorship goes straight into the WPFolks Community Fund, which backs active contributors however it is most useful: getting to a WordCamp, giving a first talk, starting a local meetup. Every recipient and every dollar is public. Your logo does not just sit on a page. It visibly helps the people who build WordPress, and they know who paid for it.

Talk about Headline

About guest posts: every one is edited like any other submission, and notes come back rather than a post going out that does not help the reader. Posts carry a Sponsor post label, and links to your own site use rel="sponsored", so neither side has a problem with Google. Allowances do not roll over. Sponsors are also folks: post in the community feed as much as you like, same as everyone.

Or back a single campaign.

Not ready for a yearly commitment? Sponsor a run of email issues or a themed campaign, scheduled around your launch window rather than a calendar month.

A note from Ankit

WPFolks is built and run by me, Ankit Panchal, WordPress core contributor credited in 15 of the last 18 releases. I read every sponsor enquiry myself, so you are talking to the person who decides. If we are a good fit you will know within a day. If we are not, you will get a straight answer instead of a slow maybe.
