About This Event
Campus Connect at Ueda Yasuko College of Fashion (Osaka) is a hands-on initiative under the WordPress Education Program, bringing open-source web publishing to students of fashion and design. Participants will learn how WordPress works, meet its global open-source community, and use the WordPress.com AI site builder to create a personal site — then dig into marketing basics to help it grow.
What to Expect
- Hands-On Site Building: Each student creates and publishes a real website using WordPress and an AI site builder.
- WordPress Foundations: Beginner-friendly introductions to how WordPress works and what makes it open source.
- Community & Contribution: An intro to the worldwide WordPress community and the many ways anyone can take part.
