Building a CMS from scratch has given me a new appreciation for WordPress. Over the past few months, I've been building the website for my WordPress projects using a custom CMS built with Flask and PostgreSQL. The main goal was to understand how a CMS works under the hood rather than relying on an existing platform. Implementing features like routing, media management, SEO, authentication, menus, drafts, and content editing has made me appreciate just how much WordPress provides out of the box.
