Hello WP Folks 👋 I wanted to share something that's been on my mind for quite some time. Over the years, I've seen the incredible power of the WordPress community. People helping strangers. Sharing knowledge freely. Volunteering their time. Organizing meetups. Supporting newcomers. Building friendships across cities and countries. But behind every contribution, every event, every plugin, every website, and every community initiative is a human being. Someone balancing work, family, health, learning, responsibilities, and life. That's one of the reasons I started WPWellbeing. Not as a business. Not as a personal branding project. And not to promote myself. My intention is simple: To create conversations around wellbeing, growth, support, inclusion, and sustainability within our WordPress community. While WPWellbeing is primarily focused on WordPress people, I also hope it can encourage students, young talent, women in tech, remote workers, and future contributors to discover and become part of our ecosystem. I truly believe WordPress has changed many lives. It has created careers, businesses, friendships, and opportunities for people around the world. If we can make our community even more welcoming, supportive, and healthy, we can help even more people grow. So I'd love to hear from you: 👉 What is one thing you wish our WordPress community did more of?
  • Mentorship?
  • Mental wellbeing conversations?
  • Support for newcomers?
  • Career guidance?
  • More local meetups?
  • More opportunities for young talent?
Or something else? I'm listening and learning. Let's build a stronger, healthier, and more welcoming WordPress community together. ❤️ #WPWellbeing #WordPress #WPFolk #WordPressCommunity #OpenSource #CommunityFirst
