About the Role

UI/UX Designer (Short-Term Contract)

We are a new web hosting company looking for a creative and practical UI/UX Designer to help establish the visual foundation of our brand and website.

This is a short-term contract suitable for a freelancer who can create clean, modern, and conversion-focused designs while working within a startup budget.

Scope of Work

Design wireframes and high-fidelity mockups for the following pages:

  • Home Page
  • Hosting Plans Page
  • About Us Page
  • Contact Page
  • Domain Search Page
  • Knowledge Base / Support Page

Responsibilities

  • Create a modern and trustworthy hosting company design
  • Develop a consistent design system (colors, typography, buttons, spacing)
  • Design responsive desktop and mobile layouts
  • Provide design assets and developer handoff files
  • Recommend improvements for usability and conversions

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience designing SaaS, hosting, technology, or startup websites
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
  • Portfolio showcasing modern web designs

Expected Outcome

At the completion of this contract, we expect to have a professional and cohesive website design that establishes a strong foundation for our hosting brand. The successful designer will deliver:

  • A complete design system (colors, typography, buttons, forms, and spacing)
  • Desktop and mobile mockups for all agreed pages
  • A modern, trustworthy, and conversion-focused user experience
  • Designs ready for implementation in WordPress using Full Site Editing (FSE) and Gutenberg blocks
  • Clear developer handoff files and specifications
  • A visual identity that communicates reliability, performance, affordability, and customer trust

The final designs should enable our development team to confidently build and launch the first version of the hosting company website while maintaining a professional appearance that can scale as the business grows.
